Saint Laurent Over Everything.

With Paris Fashion Week coming to a close, there has been sooo many shows that are worth remembering. (I mean, there was a show in what—about every major city in the world?!) The question for you is, which city, had the best shows? I mean, I can tell you one thing. Paris Fashion Week had one hell of a show–there was drama, sex-appeal, fashion for days, and actual SHOWS. From Alexander McQueen to Chanel to Rick Owens to my ultimate fav–(Saint Laurent).

With that being said, I must elaborate on one of my favorite designers. The only bad thing about Hedi Slimane is he constantly gets snubbed by other designers. (Like YOU Rachel Zoe). Who can’t help but copy is ultra-rocker aesthetic. He combines both the history of fashion (all the yummies from the past) and this gothic-sense of appeal (but grunge and rock that meets a subtle sensation of darkness). And this season was no different. Although he dabbled with this ’80’s his overall look was so chic, it made my heart melt, and my closet yearn for more clothing.

Both captivating and gut-wrenching.

….now that’s how a fashion designer truly succeeds.
