Ripped-up. Deconstructed. Re-imagined.

While in Fall 2014, we see several different emerging trends, the punk fashion aesthetic will be at the forefront of the movement. Deriving from the punk subculture we see a change in both fashion, body, hair and accessories. How deviant. To put it blatant, think ‘everything that is an opposition to the norm’, simply…everything that fights social acceptance. 

Think: spikes, chains, PVC plastic, sharp edges, with an appreciation for futuristic elements.

From “According to forecasting agency Trendstop, punk fashion will continue to evolve into the Fall of 2014, with “styles that preserve a subversive undercurrent” prevailing on the street. The punk rebellion is also set to access a new level of sophistication with its signature elements ready to undergo a refined changeover.”

Meaning, the punk inspiration will be very much prevalent but just polished. To sum up the trend here are the key words courtesy of
